Christ's Cocoons seeks to honor God by surrounding the homeless people of Central Ohio with the warmth of Christ's love through the gift of a new or gently used sleeping bag or tent! We collect new and gently used sleeping bags and redistribute them to the homeless community through non-profit organizations like the Star House, the Open Shelter and the Columbus Dream Center. Each cocoon contains a Bible app that not only makes the wisdom of the Bible visual but also makes it auditory -- in several languages. We seek to demonstrate Christ's love through these gifts which reflect Matthew 11:28 in which Jesus says, "Come to me all you who are worried and burdened and I will give you rest."
