Remix Market NYC is a creative reuse center and fundraiser for Habitat NYC. Operated by The Junkluggers of NYC, Remix Market NYC donates & resells furniture, art, and appliances at competitive prices to eliminate waste and make basic necessities accessible to New Yorkers at all income levels. Based in New York City, The Junkluggers of NYC's main mission is keeping as many items out of the landfill as possible by donating, reuse and recycling the "junk" collected. The Junkluggers provide a tax-deductible receipt within 2 weeks of the completed job for any items accepted on a clients behalf in their non profit network. Those include both residential and commercial clients. We are very serious about our mission of keeping our customers items out of the landfill. So much that we created a Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) to keep 100% of re-useable items we remove out of the landfill by the end of 2025. Through 2021, The Junkluggers of NYC and Remix Market NYC were able to divert over 35,000 items from local landfills by donating to local non-profit partners in NYC.
