Christmas In The Park is a 501c3 organization that has brought Christmas to Downtown San Jose for over 35 years. This free event helps put the San Jose community in the holiday spirit starting the day after Thanksgiving. From live performances, pictures with Santa himself and over 500 community decorated Christmas tree's displayed all over the park, it is hard to not feel the Christmas joy. Over 650,00 people walk through our event each year enjoying the Christmas displays and wonderful atmosphere. We are committed to keeping Christmas in the Park a FREE annual San Jose tradition for more generations to enjoy. This event is made possible by donations, sponsorships, and fundraising events. Christmas in the Park sits across from Downtown Ice and lies between the Winter Wonderland carnival and while the event is supported through in-kind donations by the City of San Jose, the event is not considered a “city” function.
