The KU Leuven Digital Society Institute (DigiSoc) is an interdisciplinary institute at Belgium's biggest university that joins the expertise of more than 60 professors of various KU Leuven research groups in Science, Engineering & Technology, Humanities & Social Sciences, and Biomedical Sciences. The mission of DigiSoc is to define a solid path towards a positive digital future by understanding, designing, developing and critically reflecting on (new) interactions between people and digitally driven technology. DigiSoc aims to support and encourage excellent research and education as well as create impact on real-life applications and for diverse stakeholder groups. Its envisioned outcome is an inclusive digital society based on responsible, ethical and sustainable (use of) technologies.
