Founded in 1974, the Wedge Community Co-op has been a Minneapolis institution for decades. As a co-op the Wedge was founded and owned by people in the community who wanted to have a high quality source for whole and natural foods. While the business has grown a lot and expanded its scope the principles it was founded on are very similar to those it was founded on decades ago – well before terms like “organic” and “local” were trendy.
