Smooth Transition was founded in 2018 with a primary dictate of not only providing basic needs and resources to underserved youth across the country with such things as food, clothing, and financial assistance but to also provide life coaching through small group coursework, school mentorship programs, school speaking engagements and parenting workshops. Smooth Transition Youth Mentorship Program's are hosted in several high schools throughout the US. The program facilitators conduct bi-weekly sessions with students who are hand selected by the school's teachers and administration and that fit a specific criteria including but not limited to behavior challenges, financial challenges, guidance challenges or have 'at risk' concerns. The sessions have a variety of topics such as identifying personal values, accountability, discipline, proper exercise and nutrition and visioning for the future. This program spans the duration of the school year and sets the student up for life success. Smooth Transition Sports Camps provide an income-based fee structure, offering a learning environment that will not only focus on the sport itself, but will also have sessions in academic excellence, value of good nutrition, community collaboration, entrepreneurship, respect for self and respect for others. Smooth Transition's Community Empowerment Program's provide exciting FUNdraising solutions across the US. We partner with various government agencies, schools, businesses and volunteers to bring a unique approach to raising funds to overcome budget constraints for families and local schools in addition to partnering with local charitable organizations, conducting food drives and providing meaningful assistance to families in need.
