Kalisaya (or Kallisaya) in the old Inca language of Aymara – means energy, such that radiates from the sun or a lightning, as well as the inner glow of a person. When conceptualizing and developing The KaliPAK®, the Kalisaya team of industrial and product designers, engineers and entrepreneurs – envisioned a portable energy device, that will be autonomous, highly usable, portable and will respond to numeerous use cases where grid-based electric power is absent. We wanted to replace the Diesel Generator. We wanted to provide an immediate response to the first resource that is cut-off during a natural disaster – electricity. We wanted to connect people to outdoor experiences while providing them connectivity they are used to have while at home We wanted to connect people to each other - and to power – without affecting the environment, and with zero emissions.
