R. R. Institute of Modern Technology was founded in 2008 to become the Institution of excellence However academic activities in engineering college commenced in 2008 with a vision to develop a centre of excellence in the emerging area of engineering and technology. It is recently coming on its way to provide value based technocrats.The college is approved by AICTE (Ministry of HRD Govt. of India) and affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University Lucknow.Starting with four programs in B. Tech. the college currently offers Eleven disciplines in B. Tech. (Computer Science Engineering Information Technology Electronics Communication Engineering Electrical Electronics Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Civil Engineering Bio-Technology Agriculture Engg. Chemical Engg.Food Technology Engg. ) with in approved intake of 1080 students per year MBA programme with intake of 60 students per year B. Arch. with intake of 40 students per year Masters Degree in Applied Management (M.A.M.) with intake of 60 students per year and M. Tech. (Mechanical Engineering Electronics Engineering) with intake of 24 students per year in each discipline. Within a span of three years the college has established its credentials as an institution of choice by figuring among top ten colleges of engineering and technical institution affiliated with UPTU session 2010-11 result.The institute is spread over an area of 20 acres accommodating the composite complex to meet the essential needs associated with technology and management education. The Institute has a team of highly experienced competent and dedicated faculty.
