The Western Front is the official newspaper of Western Washington University published once a week each quarter by the Student Publications Council every Tuesday (with the exception of Monday holidays).Western Weekend is published once a week each quarter every Thursday. News content is determined by student editors. Staff reporters are enrolled in a course in the department of journalism, but any student enrolled at Western may offer stories to the editors. The Front is mainly supported by advertising revenue, although opinions and stories in the newspaper have no connection with advertising.
