“Cooperativa de Trabajo Apícola Pampero Ltda.” (Beekeeping Cooperative) is an interdisciplinary group that works with a cooperative philosophy in order to find tools to contribute to the sustainable development of beekeeping. We work together with beekeepers of the Southwest of Buenos Aires Province, who make up the “Cámara de Apicultores Pampero” (Pampero Beekeepers Chamber). The current problems of beekeeping work are investigated; plans are designed and developed with concrete actions that lead to the development of effective and economically accessible solutions. The interest of both institutions is the enrichment and growth of the beekeeping sector. We chose to create a cooperative because we strongly believe that its philosophy and principles are the best way to work, achieving a greater exchange of ideas, knowledge and information between the Cooperative and beekeepers. We are a group with human warmth and young energy that promotes important values for society, committed to a broad project, which assumes the goals with responsibility and enthusiasm.
