At MINA Charter School of Lee County, we believe that More Is Now Achievable for all students in Sanford and nearby communities. Now is the time to prepare our students to achieve more. MINA will be a publicly-funded school, specifically created to empower and inspire students to be lifelong learners, innovative thinkers and global citizens who will be able to compete in a rapidly changing, diverse, and technologically advanced world. MINA will be a unique school in Sanford, Lee County. Our anticipated opening in August 2019 will include students in grades K-through-5 and we will add an additional grade each subsequent year.
