An intimate, country resort located in one of Canada' s premier seaside vacation destinations, historic St. Andrews-by-the-Sea. Tara Manor Inn is ideally situated on nearly 9 acres of rolling lawns, gardens, and groomed woodland with many of its 26 suites and its dining rooms having gorgeous views of Passamaquoddy Bay. Built as the summer residence for one of Canada's Father of Confederation , Sir Charles Tupper, in 1869, it was converted to an ocean-view retreat and popular family vacation spot in the early 1970s.
