Determination, Incorporated is the host of Rise Up, Get Started, Kansas City's first entrepreneurship competition for formerly incarcerated people. Our mission is to increase the positive economic and social impact of formerly incarcerated people by creating a pathway to opportunity through entrepreneurship. We host Be the Boss, a business support group for formerly incarcerated people. We also host Back to Business, a business basics workshop at local correctional institutions.
