www.mcfjcfoundation.orgThe Montgomery County Family Justice Center (MCFJC) Foundation was founded in 2009 as a 501(c) (3) nonprofit that supports the lifesaving work of the Family Justice Center to keep families safe from physical, emotional, and psychological abuse, giving them hope and a new start. The MCFJC Foundation works to help strengthen the lives of families affected by domestic violence and relationship abuse in order to break the cycle of violence in future generations. Over the past 8 years, the Foundation has served more than 8,000 families throughout Montgomery County from over 100 countries of origin. The mission of the MCFJC Foundation integrates the work of the Montgomery County Family Justice Center along with advocating to end domestic violence: we raise funds and provide services to victims of domestic violence and their children at the MCFJC; and raise awareness regarding the impact of domestic violence and outreach to the County’s youth to help teach about the importance of being in a healthy relationship.
