Teignmouth Airshow is Teignbridge's largest FREE event, organised and fundraised for by a small team of volunteers. We brought the very first Airshow to Teignmouth in 2019, however since then, covid restrictions have meant that the 2020 and 2021 planned air displays were cancelled. Our committee is coming back bigger and better for 2022 and has secured the RAF RED ARROW display team for Saturday 2nd July! This is a fantastic achievement for such a relatively new Airshow and goes to prove the hard work our team have been putting in behind the scenes. Unlike other Airshows, Teignmouth is unique in that it is not backed by council funding, nor does it have a business that generates its profit through ticket sales. Instead, Teignmouth Airshow is self-funded through grants, donations, sponsors and fundraising events. Unfortunately, due to the circumstances of the last 2 years, all fundraising events have had to be cancelled, leaving a massive dent in funding. The lack of fundraising opportunities now means that the committee are asking for the communities help to bring the world-renowned RAF Red Arrows to Teignmouth. Teignmouth Airshow is taking place on Saturday 2nd July, and is a FREE to attend event. 2019 saw 30,000 visitors to the town, showcasing what an excellent location Teignmouth is to visit.
