Our offering One Goal is a family finance application. Everything we do is to help couples be unified in their spending and financial planning. We help you start with a plan, then allow you to track your progress against that plan. This is done by linking your accounts and credit cards and then categorizing transactions. into your own customized budgets. One Goal puts the focus on the money that is available in your budgets, rather than your bank account balance. We convert your income into a weekly spending plan, and automatically fund your budgets on a weekly basis - this has proven to be much more effective than monthly budgeting. We automatically roll over extra money each week, or if you choose, that extra money gets sent to your One Goal - to help you accomplish that goal faster. About our Mission One Goal is on a mission to unify couples though better financial management. How we started I started building One Goal because I no longer wanted to be the bad guy in the financial relationship. I often was the one saying no, we can't do that, or feeling nervous as we spent money on fun family activities. One Goal was a way for my wife and I to clearly understand where our money was going, and a way for us to follow a plan together. I didn't realize how much it helped me until one day I caught myself saying, "Let's do something fun as a family! We've got money in our family fun budget!" Where we are now One Goal was founded in 2019 as a side-project with aspirations to be something great! We now have a handful of paying and happy customers, so 2021 is our year to grow!
