Downers Grove Christian School was founded in 1970 as a ministry of the First Baptist Church of Downers Grove. Our staff of certified teachers is dedicated to educating students, preschool through eighth grade, in an atmosphere that is distinctly Christian. Students are challenged academically, physically, and spiritually by teachers, coaches and a curriculum designed to assist them in meeting their full potential and prepare them for their future. Our small class sizes afford additional opportunities for students to excel and grow. The maximum class size for Kindergarten through Eighth grade is 22 students. Our desire is to partner with parents as they strive to raise children in our community who honor and glorify our Lord with their lives. We are blessed by the way our parents volunteer and contribute to the school.
