Little Gems Preschool strives to offer a curriculum based on Waldorf philosophies. This curriculum is well established and celebrated 100 years of existence in September of 2019. Not only does Little Gems preschool prepare children for transitional kindergarten and kindergarten, but it also provides them with a loving and safe environment in which to learn, grow and play. Little Gems possesses a high emphasis on community and looking out for each other whether it be its children, parents, teachers or extended community. This preschool is built on philosophies that develop ethical thinkers and empathetic humans. Students are met with a developmentally appropriate curriculum that takes into account where they are in their own lives. Most importantly, Little Gems considers itself as a guardian of childhood and honors its students with reverence and love.
