ECS (Electrical Compliance and Safety Ltd) was formed in 2015 (formerly PMG, formed in 2001)to specialise in all aspects of electrical compliance, providing independent and impartial electrical inspections and condition reporting services predominantly in the social housing sector, but also within the public and commercial sector. The core business is fixed Electrical Installation Conditioning Reporting and Repairing services in the social housing sector. 25,000 Electrical Installation Condition Reports were completed on houses in 2018. ECS, are fully committed to safeguarding UK residents in their homes throughout the UK. ECS carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting, Security Alarms, CCTV & Data Cabling installation & maintenance. A team of over 40 electrical engineers are out on the road at any time, with offices in Corby and Glasgow. To successfully manage and process large volumes of compliance work efficiently, ECS developed a bespoke compliance management software (ECMS). This enables engineers to follow consistent, robust, accurate, reliable and efficient inspection processes. Clients have access to real time reporting, certification and key performance information via dedicated portals. As members of NAPIT, NICEIC and AESM, ECS are committed to continually improving electrical standards and awareness within the industry. ECS are 2019 ASCP 'Electrical Contractor of the Year', and previous winners of the AGSM Electrical Safety Collaboration Award 2017 & Electrical Safety Supplier Support Award 2017. The services provided enable local housing authorities, landlords and property managers to meet legislation, compliance and safety standards, with minimal disruption and maximum cost efficiency.
