Born in the vision of acclaimed lawyer S.D Ganesha Rao and steered ably by his son and protégé S.G. Sundaraswamy into diverse areas including Company Law, Constitutional Law, Taxation Laws, and Civil Laws, the practice evolved into one of the foremost law offices of Karnataka. Mr. S.G. Sundaraswamy was appointed the Advocate General for the State of Karnataka in 1971-72 and later designated Senior Advocate by the Karnataka High Court. With his sons joining the firm, it witnessed extensive diversification both in areas of law as well as legal services and entered the realms of Banking and Investment Laws, Infrastructure Laws, Foreign Exchange Laws, Insurance Laws, etc.
