Gents MilieuFront (GMF) is an environmental organisation on regional level that wants to promote sustainable mobility and environment through positive actions. Founded in 1997 as a local organisation, GMF quickly grew to be the regional organisation as it is today. GMF is active in Ghent and surroundings, Destelbergen, Merelbeke and Evergem. Our service point MilieuAdviesWinkel (MAW) is working in the province of East-Flanders. GMF strives for a more sustainable society, which takes into account the current needs without jeopordizing the ones of the future generations. In this aim we address first of all local governments, inhabitans of Ghent and industry in the region. GMF as a movement is formed by members and volunteers. Our members receive our magazine 'Frontaal' every three months. Our volunteers are the beating heart of our organisation.
