FCC USA
www.fccusa.orgFCC USA’s vision is to equip and empower the next generation with invaluable skills like resilience, self- worth, and leadership to become young leaders and thrive in their communities. FCC USA teaches social-emotional learning through an innovative soccer-driven methodology, developed by psychologists and soccer coaches, in an effort to promote mental wellbeing, diversity, and gender equity. FCC USA was founded in 2007 to promote the transformation of realities and cause an impact-focused on social change, using soccer as a pedagogical tool and development strategy. This sport allows us to playfully promote all those skills that we consider necessary for children, adolescents, youth, and communities, in general, to face life more appropriately and become agents of change within their environment. At the end of 2020, we reached 6 countries including the US, more than 40 communities, and 100,000 kids and their families in 14 years of work. We have developed an online platform to transfer our knowledge on how and create a community around social transformation through soccer. Additionally, FCC trained over 300 young people to replicate the FCC model and 20 new projects were executed. Currently, FCC is working with over 54,000 kids educating in gender equality, racial inclusion, and mental health through soccer.
