Alexandra District Health is located in picturesque Alexandra, Victoria, between Yea and Eildon within the Shire of Murrindindi approximately 125km North East of Melbourne. Our modern facilities were purpose-built in 2011 and we are fully accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards. We deliver a broad range of health care, providing inpatient care for both medical and surgical patients. Day and overnight surgical services are supported by visiting specialist surgeons and specialist anaesthetists. Our 3 cubicle Urgent Care Centre is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year by Registered Nurses. Visiting General Practitioners (GP’s) are on call. Outpatient services include specialist medical consulting, radiology, ultrasound, pathology, district nursing, and a wide range of Primary Health services including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, speech therapy, counselling and social work.
