The IDDO was founded with the purpose of unifying the Due Diligence industry through an ever evolving set of processes and standards to help individuals and institutions make the best possible, well informed decisions in any situations. We are not the first, and we will not be the last. We follow a line of knowledge thinkers who have for hundreds of years helped the progress of man and the evolution our knowledge base and how to apply it. While due diligence was good as a noun, it is better as a verb. It has been redefined to compliment the existing sciences and technologies to bring into to the decision making process the latest understanding of human psychology, and situational awareness to empower better decision making.
