Founded in 1999 by Music Director and Conductor Alan Shen, the Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra (PSSO) is a non-profit community organization dedicated to sharing classical music with everyone, from the orchestra novice to the seasoned concertgoer. Performing at Town Hall Seattle, PSSO takes pride in presenting concerts where price is never an obstacle. The orchestra is comprised of volunteer musicians from eclectic professional backgrounds including science, arts, media, technology, medicine, and finance, with members employed by leading corporate and community organizations.
