The Arts Partnership
www.theartspartnership.netThe Arts Partnership (TAP) is a nonprofit umbrella arts organization based in Fargo, North Dakota. Our mission is to cultivate the arts in our community, which we do through our three main values: 1) Support local art and the artists who make it, 2) Advocate the arts' role in a vibrant economy, and 3) Promote a creatively enriched community. We live our mission and values by communicating about the arts, advocating for the arts and giving grants to artists and organizations making our community a vibrant place to live. We communicate about the arts through various media outlets. We also work to ensure that the arts and culture in our community are being spread across many sectors, including the business community, educational centers, government, and the general public. Some of our prominent programs include Art WORKS, Community Supported Art and our #SupportLocalArt campaign. We also operate an arts incubator called Aptitude inside West Acres mall for 19 studio artists and the public. We were formerly known as the Lake Agassiz Arts Council, founded in 1970. We changed our name to The Arts Partnership in 2009.
