How We Grew Our history dates back to 1853, when Union National Mount Joy Bank (UNCB) was granted a federal banking charter. Province Bank FSB was formed by Donegal Mutual Insurance Company and Donegal Group Inc. in 2000. Effective on May 6, 2011 the parent companies of UNCB and Province Bank merged to become Union Community Bank. The Union Community Bank Difference Union Community Bank, its leadership and staff are invested in the Lancaster community on a personal level as well as a business level. We serve on the boards of local charities and civic organizations. You’ll see us at your PTO meetings, your house of worship, your high school’s basketball games.
