Ultimately, the greater goal of MMI Ireland is to assert itself as a core representative body for all Malaysian medical students studying in Ireland, primarily the 5 major Irish medical universities - Trinity College Dublin (TCD), University College Dublin (UCD), Royal College of Surgeons Ireland (RCSI), University College Cork (UCC) and the National University of Galway (NUIG). MMI Ireland was founded in 2015 by a group of Malaysian medical students who shared the ambition to establish an organisation that would serve as a professional platform to educate, inspire, and unite all Malaysian medics in Ireland.
