As a survivor who dealt with extreme psychological abuse at home whilst working in senior management, she could see the role businesses had to play in supporting employees dealing with Domestic Family Violence and teaching the language and behaviours abusers use. Working with Businesses including ASX500 and international companies, Government Departments, and the Not-for-Profit Sector. Lisa’s background in Corporate Finance means she has the expertise to understand organisations' work to ensure they offer the best support to employees and customers impacted by DFV. By 2018 companies were increasingly disclosing that employees were reporting bullying and harassment after attending Safe Space Workplace training and workshops. As they now had the language and understanding to report and explain the coercive abuse they and their colleagues had been subjected to by a bully. Thus, empowering Human Resources to deal with problematic situations they were aware of before but couldn’t pinpoint. During COVID Lisa wrote a program ‘The Five Building Blocks to a Safe Workplace’ to address this knowledge gap and teach workplaces and their employees the language and behaviours of narcissistic bullies. Because Lisa knows Knowledge is power.
