Volkswagen Financial Services South Africa was launched as a legal entity in March 2014 with 2 shareholders Volkswagen Financial Services AG (Germany) holding 51% and The First Rand Group holding 49%. VWFS SA specialises in asset (vehicle) based finance, providing finance and insurance solutions for customers purchasing exclusively from Volkswagen Group dealerships nationwide. We are the finance home to some of the most popular and loved vehicle brands, including Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Bentley, and Lamborghini. We currently provide flexible finance and insurance solutions for our customers under the following service brands, “Volkswagen Financial Services”, “Audi Financial Services”, “Porsche Financial Services”, “Bentley Financial Services” and “Lamborghini Financial Services”. Before launching as a legal entity, the service brands “Volkswagen Financial Services” and “Audi Financial Services” had already been known to the South African market as both operated in a joint venture of WesBank, a division of the FirstRand Group. Over the years, we have worked tirelessly with our brand partners and dealer networks to establish our own identity separate from WesBank. This “identity” is vital in our business as a true captive (we conduct business only with our group dealerships). At VWFS SA, we aim to work with our partners (brand and dealer networks) not only to finance and insure customers’ vehicles, but to ensure the customer comes back to the dealer and the brand. With the many years of experience in the South African market and the support of Volkswagen Financial Services AG (the financial entity of the Volkswagen Group), VWFS SA can guarantee national service coverage, offering finance and insurance products to customers across the entire Volkswagen Group in South Africa.
