Founded by Abel Tan, Au Fait Studios’ expertise lies within Commercial work, with a strong focus in Corporate, Portraits and Events Photography. Abel began his career freelancing as a student photojournalist for the national Chinese broadsheet Lianhe Zaobao at the age of 15. The fast paced and demanding environment of the newsroom was an eye-opener, and the experienced gained was invaluable to the young budding photographer. From then on, his expertise has been consistently sought after by corporate and institutional outfits, assured by his reliability and consistent high-quality work he always pushes himself to produce. Abel’s approach to photography is influenced by his photo-journalistic roots; an intent to portray a more human and natural look from the people he photographs and the images he creates. Apart from commercial assignments, he still strings for the newspapers regularly and takes on other personal work during his off-days. He enjoys working with his clients and learning from other creatives alike and is always eager for new opportunities, locally and abroad.
