TIB is a re-imagined pharmacy with a much broader scope of practice and services than a typical community pharmacy. Pharmacy profession (and community pharmacy) is no longer all about 'filling prescriptions'. Pharmacist and pharmacy has to play an active role in health outcomes by an involvement in disease management, compliance, drug therapy optimization, adverse effects mitigation and by providing preventive as well as screening health services. TIB is established to focus on that 'big picture' not just counting pills which is 'small picture'.
