Restore Does More Foundation

www.restore.com

The Restore Does More Foundation was formed in June 2021 under the laws of the State of Texas. The Foundation is operated exclusively for charitable purposes. After the unexpected Texas freeze in January, the need for a charity program was highlighted, this circumstance accelerated the longstanding desire of the company founders to establish a nonprofit charitable organization. The foundation is currently 100% volunteer run by Co-Executive Directors Angela Melpolder and Alexandra Siojo, who manage day to day activities geared towards fundraising, charity and education. Skilled volunteers assist by organizing efforts to create events such as field days, education and emergency financial programs to assist employees in need. Charity grants are voted on by a giving committee, appointed every year on a volunteer basis. Members of the giving committee are typically employees of Restore Hyper Wellness. The foundation caters to the “Restore Hyper Wellness” family which includes employees, customers, and underserved areas surrounding both franchise and corporate stores nationwide. The Do More Foundation will be focused on three things: Community Outreach Education (Community and Internal) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) The Does More Foundation focuses on community outreach as a critical part of the foundation’s mission. Health care disparities and lack of access to wellness knowledge and maintenance is a major contributing factor in poor health outcomes. With quarterly outreach fairs, we will bring the Restore Hyper Wellness resources, such as health coaches, medical staff and non medical recovery interventions to surrounding areas. Our organization will partner with local grocers, clinical sites, gyms and organize a teaching, entertainment event to create visibility on resources available to them.
