#𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻𝗚𝘂𝗿𝘂 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆. 𝗜 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗻𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻 𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁. Sometimes when I have introduced myself as #TheLinkedInGuru I have jokingly said that GURU stands for "General Understanding, Relatively Useless". Well, I believe GURU stands for "Gets to Uncover the Real Usefulness" instead. Since I retired at the end of 2007, my focus has been volunteering and devoting my time to being a Professional Networker / LinkedIn Guru, teaching Networking and LinkedIn and I have trained thousands of professionals in how to maximize their networking skills and best utilize networking tools.
