OpenBuild is a non-profit entity that provides and supports new and existing Open Source projects, hacker/build spaces and hardware builders in the U.S. and developing countries. The board for OpenBuild is comprised of mentors, educators and industry professionals who help set up project spaces, offer master classes and open courseware as well help define and create new security and privacy standards policies for humanitarian and open data sets. We also focus on training and education opportunities for students and recent grads looking for internships with start-up companies using open source tech, and provide mentorship programs for developers, designers and projects managers who want to get involved and help drive innovation through open source.
