The Women's Center has been empowering women & children since 1978. The Women's Center program is a 24-hour emergency shelter for battered women and their children. In addition to physical safety, the shelter provides personal advocacy, information & referral, support groups, & education for the larger community about violence and its effects. The Alex & Brandon Child Safety Center provides safe visits & exchanges for children.
