We bring to this mission more than 100 years of combined journalism experience—accumulated from coast to coast and from the corridors of power in Washington, D.C., to the high school sports fields of Alachua County. We have deep ties to North Central Florida and want to see it flourish. Our coverage area includes Gainesville, Alachua County, and at least parts of Columbia, Levy, Suwannee, Union, Bradford, Gilchrist, Clay and Dixie counties. We have a small staff, but we aim to deliver more street-level than suite-level reporting. We are dedicated to factual accuracy and fairness in our reporting.
