Our Mission: Fighting to alleviate the poverty of the world by connecting people, identifying our human needs and sharing our global resources. What is Abantu? Ubuntu is the African philosophy that each of us as a whole cannot survive without each other. It says, “I am because we are and we are because I am.” Calling out the creative and unique qualities of individuals for the benefit of the community. Abantu is word for the people involved in a community. What we do: We implement and support programs that deliver basic needs to a community. We focus on clean water, maternal health and foundational pre-primary education in Uganda.
