Ray Formosa, the managing director is a retired Police Firearms and Pre Hospital Trauma care instructor with 22 years experience in the field. He has a grasp on what most equipment used in these disciplines requires and is able to design and make equipment with a greater knowledge of what the end user requires. Furthermore, all the raw materials are sourced from UK or EU manufacturers with certification and manufacture is carried out in the UK. Rig Equipment has built a reputation for reliability, quality and innovation. Our factory and Office is based in Halesowen, West Midlands, UK and we passionate about promoting UK manufacture. We employ our own design team and a number of experienced seamstresses and tailors with a capability to manufacture high end specialist uniforms for elite units within the emergency services including Air Ambulance, HART teams, Firearms Police, SAR, Fire Service and Specialist Military units.
