Refugee Law Clinic Munich e.V.

www.rlcm.de

Refugee Law Clinic Munich e.V. is a student-initiated association offering free legal advice regarding Asylum and Alien law for migrants and refugees. We are in constant exchange with the lawyers of our advisory board. The association works for people of all denominations and independently of political parties, ideologies and authorities.  Refugee Law Clinic Munich e.V. was founded in November 2013 by students of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich. They organise it themselves in the form of a non-profit-making association. Members of the association organise it and/or consult refugees weekly. Thanks to previous knowledge from their law studies and especially due to an internal training program the members are qualified to provide legal advice to refugees. We offer consultation hours on a regular basis in Munich and Dachau. Current dates and our location are published on our homepage. We give advice on many questions regarding German asylum law such as the general asylum procedure, work permits, family unification, questions regarding your residence status and perspectives, the Dublin procedure (including appeals), the refugee status and subsidiary protection status (including appeals) as well as information when your application for asylum has been rejected. We cannot give advice in criminal law, civil law, very urgent matters and urgent deadlines. We also cannot represent you before courts and we do not handle appeals regarding asylum applications that have been denied as inadmissible or unsubstantiated.
