www.wesleychapelvfd.orgWesley Chapel Volunteer Fire Department is located about 30 miles south of uptown Charlotte, NC in western Union County. The WCFD fire district, established in 1975, includes the communities of Wesley Chapel and Marvin as well as the majority of Weddington, a small part of Indian Trail and some unincorporated parts of Union County. The area is mostly rural but it is one of the fastest growing areas in North Carolina. The department maintains two stations, Station 26 (on Waxhaw-Indian Trail Rd.) and Station 31 (on New Town Rd), which are operated by an all volunteer staff 24 hours a day. WCFD provides engines and brush trucks from both stations and supplies a ladder truck and tanker truck from Station 26. In addition to fire protection, WCFD also provides First Responders that provide rapid response to medical emergencies.
