GMP Contracting Services Ltd established in 1997, and was founded by Mr Gerard Martin Pender who has many years experience in the electrical contracting field. Over the years we have grown from a small home office to a large premises with a professional and efficient team in the Gloucestershire / Worcestershire border, carrying our work Nationwide. To begin with, we were a cable jointing firm carrying out duties for what was then the Midlands Electricity Board. As our reputation grew, we were asked to carry out jointing activities for all of the major Electricity Boards. While we were carrying out these activities we were asked if we could branch out into the Civils side of the business, so we began offering a one-stop service to our clients. Our activities have now grown to encompass work in all DNO areas, covering the Civils side of the business, being able to offer LV & HV Sub-Station Installation, excavations, trenchless technology (moling), ducting and cable installations (including winching) plus a full reinstatement package to cover these activities. We also carry a full service for Highway Street Lighting Furniture to encompass column erection, connections, disconnections and column removals, as well as all of the Civils and reinstatement work alongside. This is done as a one-stop service for our clients.
