Nelson-Young Lumber is a family- owned business that has been serving the southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois building community for over 100 years. The business was formed in 1913 by “grandpa” Fred A. Young. Currently, the third and fourth, and fifth generations are actively operating the company. Expansion over the years brings the company to its present size with three lumber yards, a millwork shop, and a truss plant.
