Meridian Microfinance Bank Limited was incorporated on December 4, 2007 by the Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja with the registration number RC 721219 and licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria via certificate number 00099 dated 6th March, 2008 to carry on the business of Microfinance Banking as a Unit Microfinance Bank . We commenced operations in April 1, 2008 at 6 Buba Marwa Road, Satellite-Town, Lagos. Our current registered Head Office is located at 375 Old Ojo Road, by Fin-Niger Bus-stop, Satellite Town, Lagos (Meridian Plaza) Since 2008, we have served over 10,000 clients (including Schools) in our community and worked in partnership with religious organizations, Co-operatives, various community and interest groups to provide services for their members and we aim to extend our services beyond to the entire Lagos State and indeed the country at large. Meridian Microfinance Bank Limited is being promoted and managed by resourceful and seasoned professionals with diverse experience and background spanning over two decades in the financial industry, Media, Consulting, Oil and Gas and the Capital Market in Nigeria. The promoters have a common passion for empowerment of the weak, economically disadvantaged and create wealth. We offer a variety of Savings and Loan products aimed at improving the financial conditions of Small businesses, petty traders, artisans and small business start-ups.
