TASKER CATCHPOLE LTD is a Construction company located in Hove, United Kingdom. Founded in 1974 J R Tasker Contractors Ltd is a long established, multi-disciplinary construction company based in Hove. In 2010 two new directors were introduced to the company working in conjunction with Stephan Pfeiffer in the role of Managing Director. Under the new directorship, the company underwent certain modernisation but still retained the traditional core values on which its reputation was been built over a period of forty years. Subsequently in 2011, due to retirement of the founder, the opportunity arose to acquire the well respected and longstanding building company, W H Catchpole Ltd. W H Catchpole was established in 1949 and has developed an enviable reputation during its 60+ years trading, for delivering quality, best value building services over a wide range of projects. These have predominately been in the public sector, working on Commercial, Educational, Healthcare, Social housing and Ecclesiastical schemes. This acquisition presented a highly suitable opportunity to ‘dovetail’ the two businesses as the Tasker Construction project profile was more private client and commercial developer orientated. In November 2013 the two companies were merged, and now trade under the single company entity of Tasker Catchpole Ltd thus creating a single medium sized building contractor with the intention of offering high quality local construction services to a wide range of clients. The two companies have had over 100 year’s joint experience but in quite different sectors and client bases, and it is therefore seen that the joint staff and client knowledge would serve to produce a leading local supply chain contractor with a target turnover of approximately £25M by 2017.
