CiDrep SickKids Foundation
www.cidrep.orgThe Foundation is dedicated to impacting children's health by bridging the gaps in health care through reactive and preventative initiatives. The foundation provides funding to support the care and well-being of children who need health assistance with clinical necessities, such as surgery, therapy, medication, medical equipment, and travel-related to caring, when insurance and other financial resources have been exhausted or not available. Our Vision: We envisioned a future where every child receives cost-free care. Our Mission: The foundation is dedicated to providing funds for children with Sickle Cell, Autism, Cancers, and other health disorders when insurance and other financial resources have been exhausted. Our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Philosophy: We are doing our part to dismantle systemic inequality and champion equal opportunity. To that end, we seek to provide funds to those from historically marginalized groups — female and male kids with disabilities, kids of color, kids of caucasian, families with kids who were formerly incarcerated, families who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or gender non-conforming, first and second-generation immigrants, and people from low-income families. Our Commitment: We’re committed to fair treatment, access, and care for all families of sick kids and the Foundation team members — from volunteers to our founder.
