The primary investment objective of the Partnership is growth of capital. The General Partner and Investment Advisor intend to meet the Partnership investment objectives by employing profit seeking strategies depending on market conditions. The trading strategies implemented by the partnership will consist of both long and short positions. Long positions are value based with a 2-3 year outlook. The Management of Investment Adviser intends to find companies that are leaders in their industry with competitive market advantage and cautiously enter these positions when they trade at a discount. The Management intends ride out any volatility of these positions with hedging short positions. Greenshtein McCarthy trades a portion of the fund through a non-automatic short sale algorithm. This algorithm takes advantage of betting against certain large or mega cap stocks in the short term (1-3 day trading period). In a more transitional market, we bet against weak companies with negative earnings and a predicted high growth that is long overdue. The Management intends to enter these short positions as deemed necessary. The Partnership may invest and trade, on margin and otherwise, long and short. Options may be used to hedge positions. Positions in securities may be held for very short periods, even as little as a portion of one day. The Partnership is not a “benchmark fund” and will trade each security with its own unique elegance to achieve maximum profit.
