Industrias Químicas del Óxido de Etileno (henceforth “IQOXE”) belongs to CL Grupo Industrial. IQOXE is a petrochemical company specialised in the production of ethylene oxide, glycols and ethylene oxide derivatives located in the petrochemical estate of Tarragona. IQOXE is currently the only producer of ethylene oxide in Spain with an installed capacity of 140,000 tons/year. A total of 50% of the production is used to manufacture glycol, one of the main raw materials used for the production of PET polymers.
