Vector Law
www.vectorlaw.coVector - the future of law. Vector is a company incorporated in England, regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, and conceived and established by entrepreneurs and lawyers. Lawyers create law firms that all look alike, tech people create platforms in a similar vein. At Vector, we realised we could use technology to create efficiency, but also provide a bespoke legal service to our clients that is not only relevant, but remains cost effective. We are aligned to our clients interests. We do not charge in time units, and our lawyers are paid on completion of an instruction, not on financial performance. We have no incentive to prolong a matter, rather our motivation to is facilitate a successful and speedy conclusion for our clients. At Vector, our guiding principles are: Clarity - we take time to understand your goals and concerns, and structure and implement your advice accordingly. We are not going to sell you a perfect, but expensive, legal analysis, but a service that adds value without disproportionate costs. Transparency - estimated legal costs can be vague and often the final bill bears no resemblance to expected expense. Whilst this may be acceptable in the building game, it is not to our clients. We will always agree the costs of our services before we start work and we will not make our price subject to pages of exemptions and qualifications. Our only condition will be that our work will need to be completed by a certain date. We also have to plan and budget our business. Professionalism - our lawyers are experienced and knowledgeable, but have chosen to work more flexibly. The concept of law firms occupying signature buildings in the centre of London is only appropriate for a small number of mega firms doing multi billion pound deals. In the real world, our clients don’t need to subsidise costly property that technology has made obsolete, but is retained to support lawyers inflated egos. Many ‘progressive’ new law firms may claim they are innovative and forward thinking. Many of these firms are merely compliance functions for freelance solicitors, or are technology platforms that offer no real protection. Velocity and Direction - Each member of the Vector family is passionate about helping every client succeed in their vision to create or strengthen their business. We understand that your venture is the culmination of vision, expense, emotion, time, and hard work. We do not view our client relationships as transactional, and hope to be by your side every time you take another step forward towards global domination in your chosen market. In our experience, many early stage businesses believe they need legal advice, or access to capital, when in fact their overriding need is to hone their strategy or structure. At Vector, we recognise this, and have gathered an enviable group of successful people who are experts in their particular area, and who will share their experience with our clients.
