Impact Schools, a 501(c)(3) non-profit
www.impactschools.ngoThe primary objective of Impact Schools is to help establish impact-driven schools and support them to be sustainable and innovative in the world’s most remote locations. Our school buildings are low-cost and made with government standards to be earthquake resistant and child-friendly. Each school is equipped with modern solar power systems to provide electricity for computer labs and IT equipment. The schools supported by Impact Schools have a hostel facility for orphans and students from extremely poor and vulnerable backgrounds, who would otherwise have no means to attend schools. These disadvantaged students get free hostel facility, clothes, stationery, medical care and all other essential care from the schools. The goal of Impact-driven schools established and supported by Impact Schools is to contribute to social and economic opportunities on top of educational opportunities to impoverished communities. Thus, Impact Schools supports in establishing schools-led social entrepreneurship projects so that the community benefits and the schools become more sustainable. Some examples of such projects include goat farming, chicken farming, vegetable farming, handmade bead products and more.
